She finds beauty in the minimal, and her faith is the foundation of her joy and light. Whether it’s getting a cup of tea together, or sitting in silence because sometimes we aren’t talkative…Courtney is always so gentle and loving. Kind and funny. Encouraging and hopeful. She’s always been supportive of me, especially when she doesn’t realize it. It is an honor to have her standing next to me on my wedding day.

Meet my best man, Avery, We met at Campus students for Christ when he was the men's minister and eventually became great friends. Avery was like my mentor when I was in Macomb and he encouraged me to grow spiritually, gave me sound advice in my relationship and taught me a lot of things I didn't know about American culture and such I am delighted that he is my best man at the wedding.

Meet my fierce friend McKenna! We met in French class during high school. She knows this…but when I first laid on eyes in her, I found her intimidating. Only because she is intelligent. Funny. Strong. Beautiful. And kind. Our friendship blossomed during a summer trip to France, and that is when I knew I needed someone like her in my life. McKenna keeps me grounded. She challenges me. I admire her because of her faith and determination. Even through the midst of difficulties and pain, her eyes remain on better things. I’m so thankful to have her by my side while I take this next step.

Meet my friend Caleb, I met Caleb at Ebenezer Church in Bangor, he is the first friend I made in Bangor and we used to have a lot of good conversations after church we do bible studies once a fortnight and I am much encouraged by his life and testimony. It's a blessing to have him by my side on at my wedding.

Meet my caring friend, Kaylen. I met her my first year of university. A few times a week we’d find a sweet treat and talk, laugh, and cry for hours. I miss those days. She’s been with me through the thick of it, and even though she’s seen every beautiful and ugly side of me, she’s always been a faithful friend. She’s consistently patient, kind, and thoughtful. I love her obsession with the color blue and her love for K-pop. But I am most encouraged by her growing faith and resilience. I admire Kaylen and how much she’s had to endure in order to grow into such a beautiful woman. I never imagined how excited I would be to have her by my side on my wedding day. I am so thankful for her.

Meet my gentle and loving friend, Ana. We met during my first year of university, and since then she’s continuously been a light in my life. Ana has an incredible way with words. She speaks life into every conversation—her words are a breath of fresh air, bringing hope even on the gloomiest of days. And her laugh? It’s a melody of true joy. But, what I admire most about Ana is her faith and perseverance. Through life's difficulties, Ana walks with grace and patience. She doesn't doubt, and she doesn't fear. Most of all, Ana loves people with a selfless and servant heart. I am honored that Ana chose to stand by my side on my wedding day.

Her approach to life often reminds me to take a step back and enjoy each day, rather than living so seriously. I’m so honored to have a loving sister who will be by my side on this special day.
