We met on Tinder while attending Texas A&M — modern romance at its finest. The timing wasn’t right the first time around, but life has a funny way of bringing the right people back together. When we reconnected, we never stopped talking. What began as simple conversations turned into something we couldn’t ignore. We didn’t just fall in love — we became best friends. Since then, we’ve built a life we’re so proud of. Between cozy nights at home, big dreams for the future, and our two dogs, Rhys and Rhyker, we’ve created a happy little world of our own. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
For our anniversary, Hunter surprised me with what I thought was just a couples photoshoot — which already felt incredibly thoughtful. We went to the Texas A&M Forest Services to take pictures and celebrate another year together. During the shoot, our photographer had us do a little “icebreaker” game. At one point, we were standing back to back, answering questions and laughing like we always do. I had no idea that everything was about to change. When the photographer told us to turn around, I smiled and spun toward him — and there he was, down on one knee. I immediately burst into tears. There were shaky hands, happy sobs, and the easiest “yes” of my life. We stayed and turned the moment into the sweetest engagement shoot, capturing the joy and pure emotion of the beginning of forever. And just when I thought the day couldn’t get any more perfect, Hunter surprised me again — this time with an engagement party filled with our family and wedding party waiting to celebrate with us. It was emotional, intentional, and absolutely perfect — a day we will never forget.
