Derek & I met in early 2023. We both were on bumble and I remember asking him a bunch of this or that questions. We agreed on most things and began texting and talking. Once we started talking, we talked a lot (or as most of you know, I did most of the talking). Each day we got to get to know each other more and more. We finally went on our first date to a restaurant called The Barn for dinner. I remember our first date so well. It was raining (pouring). When we got there the sun was out and it was warm outside but shortly after we got inside the rain came followed by thunderstorms. We ate and chatted for hours!! I remember feeling butterflies and nerves at the beginning of the date and by the end it was like we had known each other a long time. We talked about everything we could think of and I nervously probably brought up the same things over and over. After our first date, we went on a lot more dates more often and quickly became annoyingly inseparable. I truly found my best friend and wanted to be with him as often as possible.

I am so excited to get married and start our future together. Family is so important to both of us and I am excited to have Derek meet my (our) family in Hungary! Not only is it a beautiful place, different culture but most importantly to meet family. It is very exciting for me to be able to show Derek places I have been, meet everyone and try new foods and enjoy some European culture!
