Marshall and Ashlei met in 2017 at BYUI. They met through some mutual friends, thanks to Doug and Ange!
We got engaged on December 17, 2020. we had a nice day spending time together in Las Vegas. We went to the Bellagio to look at the indoor flower gardens. After taking a nice stroll along the strip, Marshall wanted to take Ashlei on a drive to see the city lights. There at a golf resort, he had set up candles and it was beautiful! He asked her to be his wife, and of course, she said yes!!!!
This is a hard question! we both thought it sounded good and that it would hopefully end with a happily ever after. After both of us had met each others family, it was easier to picture a future together. After about 8 months of dating we started "thinking about" getting married.
Because both of us are student's, we wanted to get married some time during a semester break. Marsh and Ashlei love spring and thought it would be a great way to start off our spring break!
Ashlei!!!! I am quick to love! it was hard for me not to fall in love with him. He is such a great guy and has everything i could ever want in an eternal companion. Marshall has always been such a loving and caring individual. He has always made sure that I feel listened to. He is also very attentive to detail, I love this about him!
We both fit well within each others families and are excited to have a new extension of our families! It has been so much fun getting to know everyone.
Marshall!! Having Ashlei's family live closer, this made it very easy to get to know them. Funnily, I met Ashlei's parents after only a week of dating.
Our first date was to a local soda shop, sodavine. we had a great time laughing and "catching up", as this first date was after Ashlei had returned from her mission 2 years after we had met. This is now one of our favorite places to go!
Marshall! If you know him, he has always been very good at conveying his point and why he deserves, or doesn't deserve something. He has a way with persuasion.
