FAQs

Question

Do I need to update my RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please! While our initial RSVP deadline was October 31 to help with early planning, we kindly ask all guests to review and update their RSVP by March 14, 2026, as we finalize details for our wedding weekend. Since dinner will be served buffet-style, the most important information we need is whether you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. If your attendance or dietary needs have changed since you last responded, please update your RSVP accordingly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For our wedding weekend, we highly recommend that guests stay at the wedding venue, as it will serve as a central location for all wedding-related events and provide easy access to the numerous activities, dining options, and attractions located nearby. To book, guests can call the Reservations Department at 1-877-913-1333 and refer to the “Speen Wedding” on April 25, 2026. To receive the group rate, a first night’s deposit is required at booking and is fully refundable up to three (3) days prior to arrival if plans change. Reservations must be made by March 25, 2026, as the group rate will no longer be available after this date. If you prefer not to stay at the venue, we completely understand and encourage you to reach out directly to the bride or groom for recommendations on nearby accommodations that are conveniently located near the venue and surrounding events.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The guest list and plus-one invitations were set by the bride and groom. If your RSVP shows a plus-one, we can’t wait to welcome your guest! If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo, as we won’t be able to accommodate additional guests.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults‑only celebration. We hope you can use this as a chance for a fun getaway, and we truly appreciate you making arrangements to join us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire: Coastal Garden Chic While the ceremony and reception will not take place on the beach, the setting and style are inspired by the ease and beauty of the coast. We kindly suggest semi-formal or dressy casual attire with a light, airy feel, such as flowy dresses, midi skirts, linen suits, or dress shirts with slacks. Ties and jackets are optional. We’d love for guests to embrace the coastal spring vibe with soft spring colors and floral prints. Our wedding party colors are a mix of blues, ivory, beige, grey, and white.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to get settled and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The ceremony will begin promptly, and we want everyone comfortably seated before we make our entrance!

Question

If we decide to stay somewhere else, is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, unfortunately we do not have travel accommodations for guests staying offsite. Since the ceremony and main events will all be at the wedding venue, we highly recommend staying at the venue to make the weekend easier, more convenient, and stress-free.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions when updating your RSVP by March 14, 2026. This helps the catering team prepare safe options for you. If your needs change afterward, just reach out to the bride or groom directly.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have events happening from Thursday, April 23, through Sunday, April 26, as part of our wedding weekend. Please check the schedule page and your RSVP on Zola to see which events you’re invited to and can attend. We can’t wait to celebrate with you throughout the weekend!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are registered on Zola (our honeymoon fund) and Amazon. For those traveling, gifts (from Amazon) can be shipped directly to our home for convenience. Of course, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. You can find our Zola and Amazon registry links: https://www.zola.com/wedding/ashleenandaustin/registry

Question

Are you hosting anything on Sunday?

Answer

We won’t be hosting a formal brunch, but we would love to see you before you head out! We’ll be gathering Sunday morning for coffee and goodbyes. Feel free to stop by, say hello, and share one last hug before traveling home.
