Meet the future Campbells!

We met during corporate training for RobertHalf, a job that brought both of us to the beautiful city of Chicago. Ashlee showed up late after getting into a minor fender bender. Her luck quickly changed upon arrival, as she made her way to her assigned seat — right next to the tall drink of water, Payton Lee, from across the office. Fast forward 8 grueling hours. At this point, we’ve exchanged a few words, writing utensils, and Payton had even received a pep talk from good ol’ Erik Hansen (groomsman & long time pal). Training was winding down and Payton started making small talk about his plans to go to the Cubs game later that night. Bummed, because his “buddy” bailed, Payton asked Ashlee. Ashlee said "yes" and the rest is history!

Dauphin Island, Alabama. Our second day into a week long vacation. After a day at the beach, it was time to get ready for our family-vacay-date-night, something which had become somewhat of a ritual for us already. … As many of you know, Ashlee’s great at playing photographer, but often forgets to snap her own quality pics— Payton’s plan? To go down to the beach before dinner and have Madison snap some great content for the Gram. We got spruced up and made our way down to the beach. After a few failed candids, Madison finally got the angles right. Just in time for Payton to drop down to one knee & for Ashlee to scream “sparkles!”, blackout, and mumble some mushy words. Needless to say, Ashlee said “yes!” again and now we’re all here! Our wedding website! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you, in this house that we’ve made into our home!
