Nate was newish to Colorado and was looking for a new place to live. Ashlee was the manager at the apartment community that he was "checking out". Nate was trying to find the perfect home to settle down in and came across Castle Rock, CO. This place reminded him of his mom's home in California. A small town with a big city just around the corner, the perfect location. Little did Nate know that when he walked through the doors of Ashlee's work his life would change forever. Nate sat down and began going over the apartments with a leasing agent they went to go look at an apartment and it was one of Nate's top choices. Ashlee came from the back room to help seal the deal to get Nate to live in this community. Little did Ashlee know that she would be struck by a once in a lifetime love. The conversation sparked right away and there was no turning back. It seemed like their conversation could go on for hours and soon Nate found himself late for his next apartment appointment. He left just to come back and begin the process of applying for an apartment at Ashlee's work. Nate was in and out of the office a few times for a few weeks. He soon gains the courage to call Ashlee at work and ask her out on a date only for her to stumble over her words and not really give him an answer. Thinking that he had gotten shot down; Ashlee call back later that evening and let him know that "yes, she would like to go out on a date with him."
