Our story began at Ace Hardware in the summer of 2011. We started as coworkers, and with working the same shift and taking lunches together, we quickly became friends. We bonded over the silliest of things, but also connected with each other over things that weren't so easy to talk about. After months of having lunch together everyday and getting to know each other, we both knew it was only a matter of time. The rest, as they say, is history.

It was the weekend of our 9-year anniversary. We went up to Calistoga to our favorite winery, Frank Family Vineyards. We sat at a beautiful table outside in the corner of the courtyard. After literally one sip of bubbly, Mitch wanted me to open the gift that he had brought. Inside was a stethoscope, but it wasn't just any stethoscope, this one was engraved with the name "Ashlee Horning". I was completely oblivious until Mitch reached for his breast pocket and it finally hit me. This was it, FINALLY! We enjoyed our time at the winery before heading to a surprise luncheon that Mitch had planned with our close friends and family. We are so excited to see what the future holds for us!

We want our big day to be just as special for our guests as it is for us. This day simply would not exist if it weren't for you. You are the ones who have supported us throughout every phase of our lives and we would not want to spend this day any other way, than with you all by our side. We are beyond excited to celebrate our story with you!
