Where are you registered at?

Answer

Bed, Bath and Beyond and Zola. Zola is an online registry that will allow you to contribute to our future life together (i.e. honeymoon, pet, home renovations, etc.).

Where is the wedding ceremony being held?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be in a garden in the Courtyard at the Virginia Crossings Hotel. Our rain location will be inside the Madison Building on the campus of the Virginia Crossings Hotel.

How far is the airport from the wedding location?

Answer

The Richmond International Airport is approximately 25 minutes from the wedding and reception location, VIrginia Crossings Hotel.

What are my options for lodging?

Answer

We have reserved rooms under the name “Murphy-Reed Wedding” at two hotels, the Virginia Crossings Hotel and the Courtyard by Marriott Richmond/ North Glen Allen. The Courtyard by Marriott is approximately 5 minutes from the location of the wedding, VIrginia Crossings Hotel.

The wedding reception is being held at the Glen Restaurant within the Madison Building on the campus of the Virginia Crossings Hotel.

Where can I find something to eat?

Answer

The VIrginia Crossings Hotel and the Courtyard by Marriott are less than five minutes away from multiple restaurants and the Virginia Center Commons Mall. Restaurants included are: Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, Q Barbeque, Five Guys, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, etc. Grocery stores include: Publix and Target. Shopping: Best Buy, Ulta, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes and Noble, Men’s Warehouse, Ross

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Since the wedding is being held in the garden on a brick surface, I would recommend flats or wedges. I would shy away from stilettos due to the brick walkways. We will also be dancing at the reception, so bring your dancing shoes!!

Will there be dancing at your reception?

Answer

Yes! Our DJ is also a line dance instructor, so he will be teaching us a few new moves throughout the afternoon! Bring your dancing shoes!
