FAQs

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) For Nassau, guests will typically fly into Lynden Pindling International Airport on New Providence, which is the main international gateway for Nassau/Paradise Island. The Bahamas tourism site also says travelers who are not Bahamian citizens or residents must present a passport valid for at least six months at entry, though you should still confirm your own requirements before booking.

Question

When should I arrive before the wedding weekend?

Answer

Most guests will be arriving Friday, but feel free to come to the Bahamas as early as you like!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve listed our recommended hotels and rental options on the Accommodations page.

Question

Should we rent a car, or are taxis/rideshares enough?

Answer

We would suggest taxis/rideshare...but that's up to you. Just remember... in the Bahamas...they drive on the right side of the road, not the left.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yup!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

No. If you did not receive an invitation...you are not invited. Due to venue limitations, we can only accommodate those specifically named on the invitation.

Question

Can guests take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Just don't get in anyone else's view

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Cocktail Garden Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, sundresses, floral prints, suits in dark or lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. Please refrain though, from wearing Green, Dark purple, or Champagne unless told otherwise. Since the event is in the Bahamas, we recommend breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes.

Question

What should we do while we’re in Nassau?

Answer

We’ll share some of our favorite beaches, restaurants, and activities on the Things to Do page.
