Young Harris, GA became the second home for the bride's mother, Becky Slade in 2019. Young Harris quickly became one of the Slade's, Roger's, and Swindle's favorites places to visit. In August of 2021, Matthew got down on one knee at the Sunset Terrace location at Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa and asked Ashlee to spend forever with him. This location immediately became special to the two of them, as they have now chosen to have their wedding ceremony in this exact location.

Semi-Formal
The wedding will take place at the Sunset Terrace. After entering Brasstown Resort, follow signs to "The Lodge" (couple miles). Park at the Lodge- there is plenty of parking. Enter through the Lodge front doors, and go down the stairs in the Lobby. At the bottom of stairs, you will exit the doors to the right. There will be signs and staff to help guide you. The shuttle to the Sunset Pavilion will be outside the Pro/Gift Shop. Shuttle will start at 5:15. No shuttle after 5:50. *Please note: Allow yourself at least 15 minutes to get parked, shuttled to Pavilion and seated for ceremony.
