We're getting Married!

Ashlee and Logan met in 2018 on a spring break vacation with friends to the lesser known Vancouver (Canada). Ashlee’s plans fell through last minute, and so she decided to accompany her friend on the international trip with her and 3 boys. Logan will deny it, but the moment he saw Ashlee show up to carpool his excitement skyrocketed. During the trip, they got to know each other a bit more through mountain hikes and bar crawls, and Logan’s flirty moves resulted in Ashlee buying him a drink. On the last night of the trip they stayed up until 6am talking about anything and everything. On the ride back home, Ashlee asked to follow Logan on Instagram. After Logan could not stop taking to her friend about her, Logan messaged Ashlee on instagram asking her on a date before going home to LA. After talking constantly, they started dating long distance, with Ashlee visiting Logan in Los Angeles, and Logan visiting Ashlee wherever travel nursing took her (except Maine). In middle of 2024, Logan moved up to Vancouver WA and they purchased a house. While Logan has contributed with fine art pieces and woodworking structures that occupy the storage closet, Ashlee has done the heavy lifting of interior design to truly create a home. After nearly a year and a half of living together, Logan knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Ashlee, and started to put the pieces into motion. In August of 2025, Logan convinced Ashlee he would be busy with work soon, and wanted to have a fun weekend before being busy the next couple of months. He decided they should do a hot air balloon ride "last minute" given it was exciting and something Ashlee had on her bucket list. They spent the night in a cozy Airbnb in the forest, watching deer wander through the trees, and woke up before sunrise to prepare for their flight. At somewhere near 1,700ft above the ground, Logan got down on one knee, tapped Ashlee on the shoulder, and asked her to marry him. Obviously Ashlee was speechless but before she could say anything Logan took it as a yes. Although Ashlee thought everything was planned last minute, Logan had for once in his life planned ahead, and had asked for her parents permission 4 months earlier, so they could be there to celebrate with them on the ground. Not ones for the spotlight, Ashlee and Logan have chosen a smaller ceremony in the North Cascades with immediate family. They are so grateful for the love and support as they begin this next chapter together.
