We're getting married!

Carter Baldwin invited us both to his family's Fourth of July party in 2021. Carter thought we would get along very well. Thanks to Carter, we did! We first locked eyes when I was in the hot tub hanging out and Justin walked in the back gate. Justin had just gotten off from work. Justin had long, poofy hair at the time and was wearing a Bass Pro Shop hat. Justin's funny jokes, sweet laugh and goofy personality stole my heart on July 3rd, 2021.

I bought Justin a little book titled, "Things I Want You To Know When Things Are Terrible." The book has sections where you fill in the blank. The last page in the book stated, "I love when you____." We had not said I love you yet, and I told Justin when we are ready, we can fill it in. After explaining my reasoning for leaving it blank Justin told me that he loved me, and I said it back.

Justin took me to Pure Taqueria in downtown Woodstock. We had so much fun, and the food was lovely. We walked around the downtown Woodstock area and spent the evening talking and people watching. I was very nervous and anxious, but Justin's jokes made it better.
