Joseph and Ethan’s friendship started at Heart of the City church where they introduced themselves (multiple times) before they finally connected through the Spirit. In the midst of worship one night the Holy Spirit joined these two together as brothers. Something changed that night for them and their relationship has never been the same since. Ethan has been a great roommate, friend and brother in Joseph’s life. He is honored to have him as his best man.

Jannelle is Joseph’s sister and a true blessing in the couple’s life. She has lovingly accepted Ashton and Ashlee as family, and is such a beautiful woman of God that they all look up to! They are so excited and highly honored to have her alongside them on their special day.

Grace and Ashlee met at a Christ Fit Gym event where Ashlee had shared her testimony, and they instantly connected Spirit to Spirit. They quickly became good friends, whose sisterhood was built on Christ… praying, crying, laughing, sharing revelation and rejoicing together. You won’t often see them together without their Bible open or close by! Ashlee couldn’t imagine her day without her.

Kirsty is a very close and cherished friend of the couple. Ashlee and Kirsty met at HOC young adults the same day Joseph asked her on their first date as Kirsty is engaged to Joseph’s best friend and best man, Ethan! They connected through their love for thrifting and love for Christ. She is a beautiful reflection of the Lord’s lovingkindness and is a true blessing in their lives! She is like family to the couple and Ashlee is so honored to have her by her side!

Hannah is a sister to Ashlee, as they have known one another for around 13 years, and have gone through every wave of life together, even if distance separated them! Hannah has always been at the top of Ashlee’s support system, loving her and cheering her on. Hannah has a heart of gold and the best sense of humor that never fails to make Ashlee cry laughing. She is family and Ashlee is so blessed to have her flying in to stand by her side!

Francisco is Joseph’s blood brother who has always been there for him. Growing up Joseph always looked up to him for his steadfastness, strength and faithfulness. Francisco would and has laid down his life for Joseph whether that was not beating him up when he deserved it or coming to his defense. The brothers have a big age gap between them but as Joseph grew up their relationship grew stronger and stronger over time. Francisco is not only his brother in the flesh but most importantly, his brother in Christ. Joseph couldn’t be more honored to have him by his side.

Pat and Joseph met at youth camp through Heart of the City. They quickly became friends after one specific wrestling match where Pat taught Joseph that strength comes from love, not anger. Pat has always been there for an encouraging word or a loving rebuke. He has been a true brother in Christ to Joseph and Joseph is honored to have him by his side.

Mitchell and Joseph met at HOC young adults. They quickly became friends after they connected over the Lord and cars. Mitchell has always been there to help whether it’s with car trouble or just to have a good time and talk about the Lord. Mitchell is a brother in Christ to Joseph and he is honored to have him by his side.

Dakota and Joseph met a couple of years ago at Heart of the City. They quickly connected through their love for God and heart for worship. Dakota has always been there to jam out to some worship, to have a good laugh or just to talk about life. Dakota has been a brother in Christ to Joseph and he is honored to have him by his side.

Jason will be walking their mom Shannon down the aisle! All 3 of Ashlee’s brothers, Cole, Ryan and Jason will be in attendance on this day and it’s very special to her.
