We met at the gym, Jake had been there for over a year when I joined. I remember seeing him at my first competition in October 2016, but thought he was talking to someone else and at the time I was dating someone. Then we spent over a year not speaking to one another, but both watching each other from afar, because I never looked friendly enough for him to approach. We were the only two in a group class one evening and struck up a conversation about superhero movies. One Saturday morning I tried to ask if he wanted to get breakfast after, but chickened out and broadcasted it to the group, no one wanted to go. Remembering our earlier conversation, I asked him if he wanted to go see Justice League with me so I didn't have to go alone. Only, I had to ask him on in a text after he left the gym that day because I was too scared he would say no since he already said no to breakfast. Let it be known, I asked him out first. -Ash Well... we were both at Worthy. I noticed you at a competition there in April 2017, but you were dating another guy. We didn't talk for a while after that. We did power hour together that summer, still didn't talk, then you got into a car accident in the fall, and I offered to give you a ride if you needed one but you shot me down. Then you offered breakfast to the class, and I had to leave so I said no. You took it as a sign I didn't want to hangout with you. Another day we did some accessory thing together (weighted planks) and you asked me to go to a movie. I said let's do dinner too because neither of us knew if it was a date or not, but I took you to see the reindeer and dinner before the movie. You were very far away at the movie and didn't seem like you wanted to touch me, so still didn't know if it was a date, but then we started hanging out more and obviously I was wrong. -Jake
