“It’s about damn time” - Lizzo

David and Ashlee met the summer of 2015. They worked at Ashlee’s maid of honor’s restaurant (thanks Cass for providing the background to our love story 🥰). They started car pooling together and after their long 13 hour shifts they would stay up late driving all the gravel roads in Morgan County. Ashlee and David bonded over their love for music and an insatiable need to talk. They talked about everything from aliens to the best stand up comics and still haven’t ran out of topics. In December 2016, they moved to Springfield so David could go to barber school. In 2019 they bought a home after visiting a Branson psychic who told them of the coming pandemic and how the housing market was on its last good ride. At the beginning of 2021 Zac (David’s groomsman) had a dog who was about to have a litter. David presented this news to a very margarita drunk Ashlee. Even though Ashlee had been afraid of dogs all her childhood (and a decent amount of her adult life) she agreed to taking in Theo their now 80 lbs baby pitty. In the summer of 2021 David proposed to Ashlee at their 6 year anniversary singing a song from one of the couples favorite shows “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. The couple looks forward to taking their relationship full throttle and can’t wait to see what shenanigans everyone gets into at their rager of a wedding. Gang gang. Buzz buzz.
