CAMP WEBER

We've actually known each other since 2018. We met through a mutual friend, Hayden, who will be our officiant and Cody's best man, at Pace Bend Park (where we did our beautiful engagement photos). Cody at the time had a girlfriend but Ashlee immediately knew that she wanted to get to know this guy more. From 2018 to 2020, we would see each other randomly and sparks always flew but it was never the right time. Finally in summer of 2020, we hung out again and the same day Cody moved into Ashlee's place and never left. Three (almost four years later) we've lived in three different cities, two states and have traveled to so many fun places.

For years now Ashlee has been a fan of an Austin 90s cover band called Zoodust. Her and her cruise ship crew would go to their monthly concerts and had a blast. Ashlee knew she wanted them to be her (and eventually our) wedding band. NYE Zoodust played a ball drop and Cody knew it was the perfect place. In front of some of our friends and family (and a few hundred strangers), the band called us up on stage and Cody got down on one knee. Ashlee was crying so hard and the room was so loud she couldn't hear anything Cody said and forgot to say yes!

For years Ashlee has wanted to get married at a summer camp and we knew immediately upon visiting The Retreat that it was the perfect place for us. So perfect that we didn't tour any other venues. We wanted a place for our friends and family to be able to spend as much time as possible with us. Its a wedding weekend!
