Ashlee & Jake's very first date took place at Riverside Park, where they went for a walk and treated themselves to something sweet — both in dessert and in company. From that day on, something just clicked. After their first date, Ashlee knew she really liked Jake and could genuinely see a future with him. Jake says he couldn’t wait to see Ash again — though after the second date, he wasn’t entirely sure if the feeling was mutual (spoiler: it was!) As they spent more time together, Ashlee learned that Jake had a little girl in his life — a surprise that quickly became a beautiful part of their story. What could have been a complication instead became one of the biggest blessings for the two of them! A year and some change later, the Lord answered more than one prayer for Jake and Ashlee. Now they can’t wait to continue the story together, hand in hand, guided by faith, love, and a whole lot of grace, with all of you by their side!
