CWCM isn't just about children. It's a place where children and adults have a safe and fun environment for interaction. Children stretch and gain confidence through role-play and experiential learning. Adults see firsthand the potential of children as they interact together in the exhibit areas. Beyond that, children and adults have the opportunity to meet and interact with other children and adults. All exhibits are built and sized for children and adults. The Green Circle is a 27-mile scenic hiking and biking trail that loops through the Stevens Point area and connects with over 45 miles of additional trails. It winds through forests and parks, over wetlands, and along rivers, recalling the days of huge pineries, pioneer settlements, and the lore of the Wisconsin and Plover Rivers.
The Food + Farm Exploration Center is the physical manifestation of our mission. It is a place for education, unforgettable family experiences, lots of fun, and great wholesome food. It is a tremendous resource for teachers and schools and an excellent destination for family excursions and agritourists. It is a unique way to learn about careers in agriculture. Regardless of age or background, everyone will find immersive, multi-sensory activities and exhibits that will give them a new perspective on food and production agriculture. Established in 1999 by the City of Stevens Point under the auspices of the Stevens Point Arts Council, the Riverfront Arts Center hosts art exhibits and workshops in a variety of media. The Riverfront Arts Center (RAC) is a not-for-profit arts organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and enriching local and regional artists by providing opportunities to exhibit and celebrate local art and culture. Hours: Wednesday - Friday: 11 am –5 pm Saturday & Sunday: 11 am – 3 pm Closed on holidays and between exhibits. Admission is Free!
