Our venue is about a 30 minute drive from Reykjavik. We suggest staying in one of the many hotels or Airbnbs in Reykjavik or surrounding area.
The dress code is semi-formal. We request wearing black or dark colored attire. Gentleman can wear dress pants, collared shirts, sports coat or blazers, tie optional. Ladies can wear midi or maxi length dresses Please no jeans, t-shirts, flip flops or athletic wear.
Renting a car suitable for the Icelandic terrain is highly suggested, especially if you are going to venture outside of the city. Although Iceland does not have Uber, they do have a similar ride-share service is called Hopp. It is available to download on your smart phone. Public transportation is also available.
Unfortunately, due to the space limitations, plus ones cannot be accommodated. Therefore, we ask that our guests do not bring a plus one unless it is indicated on your RSVP. We would like to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family! Thank you for understanding.
While we do love your little ones, our wedding is an adult only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to celebrate with us.
Yes, please ensure your passport is valid for beyond 6 months of departure from Iceland.
