Annapolis is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and served as the nation’s capital before Washington, D.C. The Maryland State House served as the capitol building of the new United States of America, serving as the meeting place of the Continental Congress from November of 1783 to August of 1784. The Maryland State House, completed in 1779, is the oldest state house still in continuous use by legislature. Its iconic wooden dome was completed in 1794, making it the oldest and largest wooden dome of its kind in the U.S

Annapolis Water Taxi

Watermark operates Annapolis Water Taxi services throughout the Annapolis Harbor, including Spa Creek and Back Creek. The taxis run generally from 9 am – 11 pm daily, and do not require advanced reservations for public use. One-way transits are between $4 - $9 per person, depending on destination.
