This excursion is tentative and based on how we all feel after the hike. Hamoa Beach is a black sands beach in Hana. There is no parking lot for the beach. Parking can be found along the road near the beach. Please take care not to block any driveways or gates. The stairs that lead down to the beach are found to the right of what looks like a bus stop on the makai side (ocean side) of the road. This beach can be rough. The gentler side of the beach is on the left, because the waves break harder on the right side.
