Our Love Story In the fall of 2022, Aidan and Ashilie’s journey began — first as friends, sharing laughs over pizza at their favorite spot, visiting the local pumpkin patch, and enjoying simple dinners together. Before long, friendship blossomed into something more. Aidan asked Ashilie on their first official date: a cozy movie night. Knowing she had never seen what he called an “American cult classic,” Napoleon Dynamite, he invited her over to watch it. While Ashilie wasn’t exactly charmed by the film (sorry, Aidan), she realized she didn’t mind — she would have watched a thousand movies just to spend time with him. On February 14, 2023, after two months of growing closer, they officially became a couple. Their love story wasn’t without its challenges — shortly after, Ashilie moved to Florida to be closer to her family. Even separated by thousands of miles, their connection remained unshakable. Through daily video calls, endless phone conversations, and frequent flights to see each other, they built a bond even stronger than before. In October 2023, Ashilie returned to California — and from that moment, they knew they were exactly where they belonged: together. In July 2024, during a perfect beach day on the beautiful island of Mykonos, Aidan asked Ashilie to spend forever with him. She said yes — without hesitation.
