What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The wedding starts promptly at 3 PM. Please make an effort to be there at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts.

What if we are late?

Answer

If you are late under any circumstances, we appreciate your effort of getting here. :) but please try and be on time, not just for our benefit but for yours! Plan accordingly. There can be traffic, delays, etc. I can't guarantee if there will be someone to escort you to the ceremony if you're late. We will try our best to make sure someone will be there to guide you if you happen to be running late. We will give you an update on who to contact in case of an emergency or if you need assistance.

What should I wear?

Answer

You should be dressed up and be unapologetically you! We will not condone anyone who is out of dress code. Please be mindful and dress appropriately. We love you! Men- classic suit , with your choice of style , must wear dress shoes or any other shoes of your choice. You can wear business attire as well. As long as you don't wear anything casual like ( sandals, tennis shoes, blue jeans, tank tops, t-shirts etc.) Women- dresses, skirts etc. must be at a good length and not too short. Don't wear anything casual like ( jeans, flip-flops, sandals, shorts, tank tops, tube tops etc. )

What items can I have with me at the wedding?

Answer

Pack light. You shouldn't bring anything that will be heavy to carry around. We also want you to be comfortable. No one should be bringing any book bags, suitcases, large bags, large purses etc. We will accommodate those who need to bring anything extra for medical purposes only. For women, you should bring a small clutch or a purse with you. Men, You can bring a small bag if needed.

Can I take photos or videos at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! you can take as many photos and videos as you like, but please tag us in the photos and/or send them to us. I would encourage you not to bring cameras ( unless you talk to the bride and groom first) this way if we have anyone doing our photos you won't get in the way. I would encourage taking videos and photos with your phones. Please be mindful when we are getting our photos taken or if we are making a video from a photographer or videographer. Thank you!

What if I need to be picked up from the airport or hotel to go to the wedding?

Answer

You will be solely responsible for your travel and hotel arrangements. If we do have something in the works for transportation to the wedding, we will let you know in advance. We would encourage you to travel with someone and plan to ride with them or if you have a family or friend living here, make arrangements for them to pick you up if possible.

Will you have any accommodations for people who have food allergies?

If you have any restrictions or allergies, please contact us ASAP. We will try our best to accommodate you.

Where should I leave gifts/cards for the Bride and Groom?

Answer

Any gifts and cards are appreciated but not required. Once you get to the venue, inside will be a large table where you can put your gifts. We will update you with more information on this.

Can I take a photo with the bride and groom?

Yes! Just ask :)

What if there is an emergency?

Answer

Always make sure you call 911 if there are any life threatening issues going on. Don't worry, you won't ruin our day. We just want to make sure that everyone is well taken care of and safe!

What if I'm having trouble with my car or damage the property at the venue?

Answer

You will be held responsible for any damage to the venue. Reach out to us or the venue to let them know about this. There should also be someone there to help with any problems or questions you may have. If you are having trouble with your car, we will make sure to have towing information or any other service that we can think of available to you.

How far is the wedding venue from Gainesville or Orlando, Florida?

High Springs is on average, 30 minutes away from Gainesville, FL. High Springs is on average 2 hours and 30 minutes away from Orlando, FL.

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Right now, it’s undecided but we will do our best to help those who are out of state , and don’t have a car to get around. For those who have cars, and friends and family with cars, we encourage you to help each other and ride together.
