Bride
So ... Y'all know me. I'm a lot of a lot. I've been through a lot, I've done a lot, and I want to do a lot. Somehow reconnecting with Dustin was not expected by any means, but exactly what I needed. We've been friends for 15 years and never had entertained anything else, until we did. And it turns out, its just what we needed. Whether it's agreeing on sitting at home watching movies or our small spoons for mac and cheese, there is not a doubt in my mind that Dustin is absolutely made for me. He's my best friend and I love him more than anything. I can't wait to officially start our lives together, and I can't wait until we get to be a little family with Gracelynn (daughter) and Peyton (dog daughter).
Groom
Dustin has worked for Kalitta Motorsports for a long time - which is how we actually met! He's a retired Marine (before his professional racing career began) and honestly one of the best men I've ever met. He's loyal to his friends, his family and to me, but also doesn't put up with a lot of crap (which, if y'all know me, that's kind of what I need LOL). He's an amazing Dad to his daughter Gracelynn (given the distance) and that's one of the things that melts my heart the most. He's also an amazing dog dad to Peyton (though I understand it's not quite the same). And he loves me - so that should make him great in everyone's book ;)
Maid of Honor
My Beautiful Sister, Shannon, will be my Maid of Honor. She's been my biggest supporter for our entire lives (even with the fighting when we were kids)! She's my little sister but has grown up into the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I'm so proud of her and she's blessed me with the best 2 nephews I could ever have imagined. She's my rock. She truly is. Love you Shan :)
Best Man
This Bro has been in Dustin's life for a long time. Basically the entire time of his professional career with Kalitta Motorsports. One of the best friends a guy can ask for, he was one of the first that was so excited and happy for us to have found each other in (like this) and to get to join our lives together.
Bridesman
Please meet Red. This guy is the reason I actually have friends since returning back to Indy in 2017. We randomly ran into each other at the Casey's at lunchtime one day, and he wouldn't let me retreat back into my little hole. What was a completely unexpected encounter with someone I've been friends with for 20 years turned into the kind of friendship that never ever fades. And I'm so thankful for that lunch break (and our previous friendship) every single day. Thanks for being my brother, Red!
Groomsman
This child has been Dustin's cylinder head assistant for a couple of years now. They fight like brothers even though Dustin is old enough to be his dad (hahaha). But They still look at one another as their closest friends and go out on the lake every chance they get when they're home. Kyle has been welcoming, understanding and loving as I've become closer with Dustin and I love him like a little brother as well. Dustin is super proud to have Kyle stand up there with him for our little ceremony.
Bridesmaid
I've known this girl for 12+ years and she's been with me through some rough times. She always shows up, always supports and I love her more than anything. One of the happiest-go-lucky girls you'll meet. This is Megan (and it doesn't hurt that for a whole winter, her mom made me surprise lunches which is soooooooo my jam LOL).
Groomsman
Dustin and I have both known Jeffrey for the majority of our professional drag racing careers. We have so many funny memories between all of us, we couldn't get married if Jeff couldn't be there with us. He's been a brother, an uncle, a dad and a friend for both of us, and always loved and respected like family. Jeff thanks for always being there for us in all of the ways. We love you!
Officiant
So funny story here. Nicole is married to my bridesman, Wayne (Red). I met her several years ago when I was still on the road with the top fuel car. Upon Wayne forcing me to be social when we ran into each other at the gas station those years ago, Nicole and I have managed to develop a SOLID relationship. She's worked with me through the woes of not being on the road anymore and we've become some of the best friends possible! Her little doggy is my niece and my little doggy is her niece LOL. Also, she played an integral part of this whole thing with Dustin and I. SOOOOO She gets the honor of being officiant, and I'm so glad that she can be that part of our ceremony. These are memories that we will have forever. I can't wait!
