Family: Please RSVP by Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2022. If we don't receive a response by then, we unfortunately will assume your absence. As family, you received your invites first to prioritize and accommodate your presence and it is important for us to have enough alcohol, food, and seats to celebrate with you! If you regretfully can't make it, it is still important to let us know because then there will be an available spot for us to fill with friends and other loved ones. If anything changes with you or members of your party, please let us know as soon as possible! We would love nothing more than to see you, but understand if you can't make it. Friends: If you received an invite after Feb 14th 2022, please RSVP within two weeks of when you get the invite. If we do not hear from you by then, we will unfortunately assume your absence.
With the exception of nursing mothers with infants, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. While we love your little ones deeply, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time for childcare so you can celebrate with us, worry-free. You absolutely deserve a night out of fun, on us!
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. What does this mean? Don’t sweat it too much. Think a step above a fancy date night. Men: Dark suits, dressy shirts, slacks and ties are welcome. Ladies: it's your time to shine in that floor length or that cocktail dress you’ve been waiting to wear out. Please no jeans, sweats, mini or white dresses. Our reception will be taking place towards the end of winter/start of spring at a beautiful historic barn with both indoor and outdoor areas. Although we'll be indoors most if not all of the time, please keep this in mind when choosing your attire and footwear, as we want you to stay warm!
Due to the venue being in a historic park, there’s no public transportation available. Please let us know if you’re down to carpool with others and we can try to figure something out!
We originally were not planning on having a winter wedding, but God had other plans. Not only was it more affordable, sooner, one of the only Saturdays available for the year of 2022.. it’s Cody’s 30th birthday! Insisting it would be the best birthday ever, Cody happily suggested we use it for our wedding date. He likes to add in that it’ll be easier to remember our anniversary this way.
