Weather permitting, our wedding will be fully outdoors. The ceremony will take place on the lawn, cocktail hour on the upper lawns closest to the estate, and reception under the tent. In the event of rain, the ceremony & cocktail hour will also take place under the tent. Appleford is a historic estate, garden, and arboretum. Please feel free to enjoy the grounds and estate indoors during the reception. In the wise words of Gandalf, "not all those who wander are lost."

We wish we could invite everyone, but given limitations on space, only a few guests have been given plus ones. Please refer to your invitation if your invitation includes one. We appreciate your understanding!
While we love your little cuties, invitations for children will be limited to the bridal party only. Thank you so much for your understanding!
A welcome snack will be provided at 2:00 PM, with the ceremony starting at 2:30 PM. Thank you for being on time!
For those driving in, please be on the lookout for a green mailbox at the end of the street on your left. There will also be signage that you've arrived at Appleford Estate. Then bear left at the fork and head down the end of the long winding driveway to find the guest parking lot. Complimentary shuttles will be provided to and from Hotel West & Main and Marriott Philadelphia West!
Yes, a complimentary shuttle service will be provided from Hotel West & Main and Marriott Philadelphia West (please see the Travel section for more info). If your are staying elsewhere nearby, we kindly ask that you arrange your own transportation. Thank you for your understanding!
We'd be happy to invite you to take photos during this special moment! Our officiant will guide you on when the best times to take photos will be - otherwise, we kindly ask you keep your cameras & phones tucked away & put on silent during the ceremony. This is so our photographer & videographer can capture the magic of the moment in all its splendor! We truly appreciate your consideration & understanding.
While we'd love to take photos with every one of you, we have limited time between the ceremony & cocktail hour. As such, photos after the ceremony will be limited to just family and the bridal party. However, we happily welcome photo ops during reception! We thank you in advance for your understanding!
