Do you have any hotel recommendations or blocks?

Answer

Schulenburg is a quaint small town and there are only a handful of hotels, so we have blocks at the Schulenburg Inn & Suites and the Holiday Inn Express! There are also some great vacation rental properties very close to the venue!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot located just outside of the venue and is a very short walking distance from the ceremony!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Family is one of the things we bonded over so we are looking forward to celebrating this day surrounded by our loved ones of all ages! We only ask that you account for them on your RSVP so we can prepare accordingly!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The venue is a rustic barn during the summer so we are recommending garden cocktail attire (if you google 'garden cocktail' you'll find examples!). The ceremony will be inside, but afterwards during the cocktail hour there will be some games set up outside as well as a bar so plan for both grass and gravel!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are requesting that you RSVP by July 1st, 2023 so that we are able to plan accordingly!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place indoors, however, there is a shaded outdoor area for fresh air as well as a grassy area that will have cornhole!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:00 pm so we recommend arriving by 4:45 pm so you are able to find your seats and get comfortable! Once the ceremony starts the doors will close and no one else will be allowed to enter until after the ceremony to avoid disruptions. But if you happen to be late you are able to wait in the shaded outdoor area and join the party for the reception!

Can I take my own photos?

Answer

We have an exceptional photographer, Manny, who will be capturing the ceremony professionally so we kindly ask that cell phones and cameras be put away. Following the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate our big day with you! Your presence is more than enough, but if you’d like to give a gift we’d be overjoyed with a contribution towards our honeymoon fund. It is linked under the "Registry" section of our website!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As romantics ourselves, we love love! Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We have excellent vendors that will be putting all of their love into providing everyone a delicious meal. There will be vegetarian and gluten-free options available, but please be aware that the food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, or wheat.
