We're Getting Married ♡

We met on March 6, 2022, at a pool party that neither of us were even planning to go to—it was a total last-minute decision. Ashanti was just walking in, and Delano was literally on his way out. But fate had other plans. Delano and his brother, Demarco, stopped to talk to Ashanti and her sister, Mahogany, and from there… something just clicked. We exchanged numbers, and we’ve been stuck with each other ever since (in the best way!). Just three months later, we found out we were expecting our son, Delano Jr. Life got real, really fast—and we made the choice to take a chance on love and see where it could go. Turns out, we hit the jackpot. Through everything, we grew stronger together and built something real. Delano says he had been planning to propose for a while, and originally wanted to pop the question during our trip to Hawaii. But he couldn’t wait any longer! So on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, he surprised me with a proposal—and of course, I said YES! We’re so excited to take this next step and can’t wait to celebrate forever with the people we love. #AD4L 💍❤️
