Ash can't wait to say I Do to his best friend and partner. He is the son of Royce D. Miller and Gerlinde A. Miller (D. 2019). He has two siblings, two nephews, a niece, two grand nephews, and a grand niece. Ash works as the Customer Liaison for a Web and App development firm in Elgin, IL. In his spare time, Ash enjoys movies, crafting, travel, exploring, cooking and spending all the time he can with Zach.
Zachary Bishop
Groom
Zach is ecstatic to be marrying his best friend and partner. He is the son of Earl "E.J." and Jill Bishop, and the brother of Shannon Bishop and the family dog, Dakota. He grew up in Aurora and River Grove and pursued his love of history as a career. He is currently the curator of the DuPage County Historical Museum in Wheaton. Zach loves reading science fiction and fantasy, researching history, bingeing TV dramas, and exploring.
Clio Hathaway
Ash's Best Woman
Ash and Clio dated briefly in high school and then fell out of touch. When they reunited a few years later, in a chance meeting, they reconnected in a way that has forever changed them both. That reunion would find them becoming the best of friends. While both now think of their partners as their "best friends", they will always share a bond which, no matter how long they go between talking, continues to see them right back in sync in moments. They have laughed together and cried together, but remain friends no matter the distance.
Shannon Bishop
Zach's Best Woman and Sister
Shannon and Zach are as opposite as can be when it comes to their personalities and interests, but the siblings have always found common ground with their shared sense of humor and love for their family. From playing with toys in the basement and riding bikes around the block to going to bars and throwing axes, Shannon and Zach have made tons of fun and hilarious memories together. Shannon is working on her Master's degree in Sports Management at William Penn University in Iowa.
Jeff Savage
Ash's Groomsman
Jeff came into Ash's life during his medieval recreation days. They continue to be friends to this day. Jeff is Ash's brother by choice and his family is Ash's family. Jeff is a cook and father of three amazing children. Together with his wife Alli, these two have made such an impact on Ash's life and how he approaches loving relationships.
Ngaire Whiteside-Bull
Zach's Best Woman
Ngaire and Zach met while participating in choir and drama in high school and despite some rocky patches, have remained supportive and loving friends for over 10 years. The pair reached best friend status after they both graduated from high school and have made tons of memories taking fun day trips, watching bad movies, and checking off bucket-list items. Ngaire works as a Veterinary Tech in the Chicagoland area.
Alessandra West

Alessandra, like Jeff, is Ash's sibling by choice, having come into Ash's life during the medieval recreation days. They are a linguist who graduated with a BA in 2011 and their MA in 2016. Alessandra works in tech support and lives with their two cats in Chicago.
Jessica Kraemer

Jessica is Zach's cousin who has always been his friend and supporter. Jessica and Zach grew up together making tons of fun and hilarious memories while on vacation in Waupaca and during weekend trips to each other's houses in Decatur, IL and River Grove. Jessica is a nurse in Decatur.

Liam is the two-year-old son of Ash's friends Diane and Richard Dover.
Abby Goughenour

Abby is the seven-year-old daughter of Zach's family friends, John and Laura Goughenour. She loves unicorns, Roblox, macaroni and cheese, and visiting Jill, Ash, and Zach.
Earl "EJ" Bishop
Zach's Dad
EJ has always wanted the best for his children and is glad to see Zach marrying the hard working and loyal person that is Ash. EJ grew up in Chicago and Downers Grove and has worked for his family's business, Priority Logistics, since he was 16. He loves watching sports and movies, drinking craft bear, and grilling. He is sad that his parents, Earl and Marie Bishop, passed away before the wedding, but knows they would be proud of their grandson.
Jill Bishop
Zach's Mom
After years of reassuring Zach that he would find love, Jill is thrilled that he is marrying such a loving, down-to-earth, and crafty person as Ash. Jill grew up in River Grove and works as the office manager of a podiatry office. She loves entertaining, drinking margaritas in the sun, and spending time with her family. She is sad that her parents, Russell and Gladys Kraemer, passed away before this happy day, but knows they will be there in spirit, cheering their grandson on.

Royce Duane Miller, LTC Retired US Army - Is Ash's Father. He is happy to be celebrating the marriage of his youngest to Zachary. He regrets that his Wife, Ash's Mother, Gerlinde Anna Schoeffler-Miller, passed before she could share in this happy time, and is sorry he cannot attend himself as health circumstances prohibit it.
