FAQs

If you have any other question that are not listed below, please reach out to Sam or Ashleigh up until November 2nd at samcandashh@gmail.com. We will get back to you ASAP.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is Cocktail Attire - meaning suit & tie, and long dresses. No tuxedos necessary. No white dresses, however white dress shirts are approved. The Wedding Party will be wearing burnt orange dresses + ties, and the groom will have a dark forest green tie. Ladies, if you're more comfortable in a suit or jump suit, that's approved as well!

Question

Any other colors to avoid?

Answer

Dark forest green ties, burnt orange ties + dresses, and white dresses.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love little ones, but we have a strict guest limit. If you RSVP yes and have kids, Ash & I will be reaching out to see if you're planning on bringing kiddos, and if we can or cannot add them to the guest list. In terms of dress code, if you're bringing along a kiddo, please ask them to throw on their nicest shirt or favorite dress!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We are currently working on getting some hotel block options and the Travel page will be updated accordingly when we have them secured. We recommend staying between Issaquah and North Bend, although there may be more hotel options in Bellevue. Airbnb is a great option in this area as well.

Question

What's the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Early November will either provide us with the most beautiful fall colors and stunning blue skies, or some (just as stunning) grey clouds and rain. We will be keeping an eye on the forecast to determine if an outdoor ceremony will be possible. It will also be getting dark by 5pm. Historical temps are around 53 degrees F. We recommend bringing an umbrella and potentially a rain jacket.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 2:30. The ceremony will begin at 3!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Ash and I are always 'the more, the merrier' type of people, however your invitation will indicate if you have a plus one. Given that the reception will be indoors, we have a strict guest limit. If you're unsure or have any questions, please feel free to reach out! If they aren't already on the list, we may be able to add them to a waitlist.

Question

Will there be vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free options?

Answer

Yes - please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Will the ceremony / reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be indoors. The venue we booked has the optionality for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, and we will make a game time decision based on the weather forecast. If it's cold, bring a coat. If it's a light rain, bring an umbrella! If it's cold and pouring rain, the ceremony will likely be inside.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. (SEA).
