Matron of Honor
Leta has been the biggest blessing in my life. She was always “Lacie’s older sister,” but quickly turned into my best friend and the older sister I never had. I’ve gained so much from her, especially in the way she has helped guide me in my faith and grow closer to God. Her encouragement and example have meant more to me than she probably knows. Whether it’s through advice, laughter, or simply being there, she has always supported me. I truly couldn’t imagine this day without her right by my side.
Maid of Honor
Mar has been my best friend since the day we met in 4th grade. We instantly bonded over being the tallest girls in school (towering over the boys), and from then on we were basically attached at the hip. If one of us was gone, people always asked where the other one was. When we were younger, people would ask if we were sisters, and we would sneakily say yes because we thought it was the coolest thing ever and honestly, that’s exactly what she’s become to me. She’s not just my best friend, she’s family. She is the funniest person I know, and even though no one else really understands our humor, that’s what makes it ours. I’m so lucky to have her in my life and standing by my side on this day.
Bridesmaid
Lacie has been one of my best friends since elementary school. We have so many memories together, from walking barefoot into McDonald’s and getting the craziest looks, to always finding a way to go out and have fun no matter what. We were always staying up way too late doing the most random things, but somehow those ended up being the best memories. Through every stage of life, she has always been someone I can count on, and she’s brought so much laughter and joy into my life. I’m so grateful for our friendship and everything we’ve shared.
Bridesmaid
Elka and I have known each other since Head Start, and we’ve had the chance to watch each other grow into who we are today. She is one of the most thoughtful, kind and genuine-hearted people I have ever met, but also one of the funniest. She always has the most random, hilarious comments at the perfect time that make everything better. She’s always down for anything, which has led to so many fun memories together. Through every stage of life, she has been someone I can always count on, and I’m so grateful for her love and support.
Bridesmaid
Mindy is the best sister anyone could ask for. We grew up around each other with our older brothers wrestling, so we were always together, but over the past few years we’ve truly gotten to know each other and built such a special relationship. Gaining her as a sister has been such a blessing, and I’m more thankful for her than I can put into words. She’s always ready to go out and find an adventure no matter the time of day (or night), and she brings so much joy and light into my life. Through everything, she has become someone I can always count on, and I’m so grateful to have her here today with me.
Best Man
Christian and I have known each other since head start and have been best friends ever since. He is one of the most loyal people I know, out of all the situations we’ve found ourselves in over the years he’s always been there to help. From getting lost in the woods, to when I just need someone to talk to, I know I can always rely on him to be right there with me. Christian is one of those people you can always count on to crack a joke and lighten the mood. Whether it’s 10 hours into a job or sitting around a fire, he can always make you laugh. Along with that the way he takes care of those around him truly goes to show how great of a man he is. His faith and relationship with the Lord has always been one I look to for inspiration in my own. I can’t think of anyone better to call my best man, and I know I’ll be right there for him on his wedding day just like he is for me.
Groomsman
Cody is a man that I’m proud to call one of my closest friends, he’s always been the type of person to lift up the people around him. For me he’s always been a source of motivation to be a better man. I’ve known Cody for a long time growing up and playing sports together, but it wasn’t until we were 16 and started working out together we grew into close friends, since then he’s been like a brother to me. Over the years Cody and I have made so many memories together from countless days on the river fishing and swimming to bonfires in his backyard and trying to look for Sadie, Cody’s one of those friends that’s always up for a good time. I’m happy to say that Cody will be standing by my side as a groomsmen because through all the good memories and hard days he’s been right by my side.
Groomsman
Aidan and I met while we were stationed at Twentynine palms, I can say for certain that marines share a special bond that differs from most friendships and that holds true for my friendship with Aidan. He became one of my closest friends while we were stationed there, from being my gym partner every day and getting through long days of training to having barbecues and trying to stay out of trouble on the weekends, we went through it all together. He was one of the only other people in our platoon that came from a small town so we became friends by telling hunting and fishing stories from home while we chased coyotes around the barracks and talking about all the things we would do as soon as we could make it home on leave. He’s a man I’m proud to have served with and proud to call one of my groomsmen.
