What's the dress code?

Here's the thing: we don't really know what we're looking for in terms of dress code other than not wanting folks to show up in jeans, tee shirts, leggings, etc. Does that qualify as cocktail? Semi-formal? No idea! So, with that in mind: its summer solstice! Fun colors? Flowery or whimsical headpieces? Florence and the Machine vibes? Floral pants suit? If it's fun and too dressy / elevated for your day-to-day, here's your excuse. Be stunning in public with us.

I don't see a registry-- what would you like for wedding gifts?

Answer

That is because we do not have a registry; not everyone has the disposable income for gifts, and we're much more excited to celebrate us with people we love than we are to open presents! That said: if gifting is important to you and you have something in mind, you are very free to do so! If you're invited, its because we love you. What is important to those we love will be cherished by us. If gifting direction is useful to you: we'd love if you gifted to Real Rent Duwamish! They have been the stewards and caretakers of the land we live on since time immemorial, and our home wouldn't be the place we love without their care. I'm not from Seattle-- where should I stay?

Answer

The wedding will be in the West Seattle neighborhood, so that's a good option. We are quite fond of Highland Park, the neighborhood we call 'home'. If you're wanting more nightlife, Capitol Hill and Ballard are fun and have several venues for local music! Whatever neighborhood suits your vibe, if you need food and bev recs, Ash has a spreadsheet for that, just ask~
