One sunny evening in Charlotte, I came home from work ready to take our sweet boy Dash on an evening walk. Chad made plans for a date night that evening, and insisted on dressing up before we left for the walk. We made our way up along our favorite greenway, which is very special to us as it's where we trained Dash. The greenway finishes at the top of a hill, which overlooks the city skyline. Chad insisted he had been working on new tricks with Dash, so asked me to turn around and give him a treat as he waited patiently. Knowing my fiancé well, I knew what was coming! As I turned around, Chad was down on one knee and did the dang thing! The proposal was everything I wanted - you can cross reference with my bridesmaids Sam and Ingrid!
