We met sometime in October 2016 right after I (Rebecca) got back from a music festival and had all my crystals bracelets on still. Matt was sitting at the bar (World of Beer) for happy hour, his favorite and I was his bartender. We started to talk about music and how it connects us to spirituality. He then shows up with this really cute dog and I lost my cool and basically it was a sealed deal. We both were going to a show a few weeks later downtown and he bought me a drink and we danced all night. He ditched his friends ( sorry about that guys) and walked me to my car after buying me some pita pit..what a gentleman I thought to myself. That night was November 16th and we never stopped talking after that. I didn't give him my number until that night because I he asked me to text him when I got home safe. He would come to my job a few times a week and bring Cosmo so I could get all the dog loving! I was playing it cool and trying my best to take it slow but I knew by his birthday in February that I wanted him in my life. So after meeting all his friends at his birthday dinner, I invited him to Spain for a wedding and then Hawaii a few months later for my Dads wedding. Fast forward to 7 years later we got lucky enough to be asked to Hawaii to dog sit and little did I know he kept the biggest secret that he planned to ask me to marry him. We got engaged on the top of the highest mountain in the world as the sunset and moon rose.
