To our friends and family: We're so excited to celebrate our wedding with you! After many failed attempts and finally ready to give up, we each gave Facebook dating a try. To our surprise we found each other during the height of Covid-19 and began speaking over the phone. We made plans to meet for a first date and the night before Greg suggested we video call so that there would be less pressure when we met in person. When I answered, Greg was wearing a huge sombrero and sunglasses which just made me crack up. This was definitely a good start! We went to dinner the next day at a beautiful restaurant (outdoors of course) and spent seven hours talking about anything and everything. We have not stopped talking (especially Greg) ever since :)

Greg told me he had to work the weekend and I should join him since his job was putting him up in a suite at the W Hotel Times Square. When I arrived, the room was decorated and lit by candlelight (thank you Gaskin Pop-ups!) and he was on one knee. It was beautiful and of course I said yes! The next thing I know, my mom and Kiara come out from the bedroom and surprised me. They leave, and we have dinner. Once we're done, he suggested we go have a drink at the hotel lounge. When we get there, some of my family and friends surprised me again! It was the most thoughtfully planned engagement I could have ever wished for.
