Whether or not you are able to attend, please submit your RSVP by December 21, 2025. Once you receive your invitation, the RSVP tab on this website will be accessible.
We invite you to wear "formal attire" and suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a colorful, full-length dress. Our wedding events will take place on brick, grass and indoors. It is a 5 - 10 minute walk from the ceremony space to the reception space.
We kindly ask that you follow the information provided on your invitation and in your RSVP option.
As a private community, Seabrook Island requires cars to be registered before admission through the gate. If you are staying off the island (Charleston, Kiawah, etc. ), you'll check in at the Gatehouse under the Asbury / Kersten wedding (no charge to you). If you are renting in Seabrook, your management company will provide details for your gate pass. Vacasa, VRBO and Airbnb walk you through it - you'll most likely be asked to provide your name and license plate number. There is a small fee that is usually charged alongside your rental fee. If you are renting a car, they walk you through that, too.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Seabrook Island Club - on both sides of it! We encourage guests to carpool to and from the venue if you'll be partaking in celebratory cocktails. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place on the verandah of the club. If needed, we will provide those details.
We recommend renting a car if you can or carpooling with other guests. You won't have a problem getting an Uber/Lyft from the airport to Seabrook - keep in mind it will take 45+ minutes depending on traffic. However, once on the island, Ubers/Lyft are almost non-existent.
Our ceremony starts at 5:30pm at the Ocean Terrace. Please arrive 15 - 30 minutes early. If you are staying off the island, you will need extra time to pass through the gatehouse. The Ocean Terrace is located near the Seabrook Island Club. It is a 10 - 15 minute drive from the gatehouse to the club. Please allocate enough time to drive through the island and walk to the ceremony space.
