AriannaArianna

Maid of Honor

Hello beautiful people. I am Ari, the maid of honor. The gorgeous bride and I met through mutual friends during our junior year of high school, but that was not how our story began. We had been accepted to SUNY Fredonia and decided we should live in the dorms for a friendly face. That was the start of an amazing friendship that will last a lifetime. Through our dorming experience, we have laughed, cried, and had some of our very first experiences together. From singing and dancing to musical numbers, matching outfits, and girl nights filled with laughs I had realized that this talented woman with an amazing soul was going to be my sister. I remember Asantewa and Brandon meeting each other and seeing the experience of the bride and groom and the evolution of their relationship with my own eyes was an incredible sight to see that brings a tear to my eye. I am so glad to be a part of this union and see where the future brings the happy couple. I love you♥️

JustinJustin

Best Man

I’m Justin, Brandon’s brother. I’ve quite literally grown up with Brandon, and I really haven’t known Asantewa for that long, but I do know that the two of them share a deep and profound bond. I hope that this bond grows even deeper and stronger as they progress through life together, through the ups and downs. I’m honored to have Brandon as my brother and Asantewa as my sister-in-law.

TylahTylah

Bridesmaid

Hello I’m Tylah I am an actress. I met Asantewa in high school where we bonded over our love for musical theatre. We got especially close when she played my Aunty Em in The Wiz. It’s been an honor to watch Asantewa follow her dreams as an artist. I am right by her side with every endeavor and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. I am very happy that she was blessed with her wonderful husband. Throughout the years I’ve watched her grow into the smart, driven woman that she is today. To Brandon, you are very lucky to have found a gem like my friend. To many years of love and light to you both.

Groomsman

Brandon and I became friends during our first year at West Point sitting at the same lunch table. We bonded over our love of music and food (although Brandon liked the mess hall food a bit too much). He even came to my home for Thanksgiving, where my grandfather gave him the nickname “Sandman,” and taught us how to smoke cigars in preparation for the West Point Christmas dinner. It was clear to my family, as it has always been clear to me, that Brandon is not only a great friend, but an unstoppable force of positivity and a truly good person. We’ve only grown closer since, and his excitement about bringing Asantewa to our 500th night formal was beyond anything I had seen before. The first thing I noticed about Asantewa was her endless smile, bested only by the smile Brandon had looking at her. My fiancé, Cali, and I had the privilege of going on double dates with them, and it was clear from the beginning that they were a match made in heaven. We are immensely grateful to have seen their story from the beginning, and we can’t wait to watch our forever friends grow in love and cherish one another in marriage. I’m as excited as a seagull at a potato chip convention to be Brandon’s groomsman and I send all my love to him and Asantewa as they start on their new journey together.

Bridesmaid

Hi I’m Osaruese, I am a Computer Scientist who graduated from Boston College. My favorite food is Jollof rice and chicken. On my free time, I like to watch reality TV and play basketball. I enjoy traveling to different countries for leisure and volunteer work. I have done service trips in Jamaica and El Salvador. I grew up with Asantewa, we lived across the street from each other for several years. We have known each other since 6th grade and hung out a lot especially in middle school and high school. It is a pleasure to know a kind and supportive friend like Asantewa who is always there to lend a hand or listen. I look forward to being there for her during this new phase of her life.

Groomsman

I met Brandon “Mijo” Sanchez during BEAST in the summer of 2021. Although I did not get to know him until we were roommates our first semester, I immediately noticed Brandon’s selflessness, joy, and commitment to those he called friends and family. In the past five years, I’ve witnessed Brandon demonstrate what it means to commit to one’s goals, friendships, and commitments on a daily basis. I’m lucky to call Brandon my friend and brother. May Brandon and Asantewa continue to blossom their relationship and experience the wonders of life together.

I’m Fatou, Asantewa is my best friend. She is literally my ride-or-die, and I honestly don't know what I’d do without her. She’s not just my best friend; she’s my person, and we are 100% inseparable. No matter where we are or what we’re doing, she’s right there with me, and I just know we’ve been this close in every past life and will be in every single one coming next. I’m so incredibly happy to be on this wild journey with her by my side, and I love her more than anything. Seriously, no matter where life ends up taking us or how much things change, she’s stuck with me. She will always be my sister, and I’m just so obsessed with the fact that I get to do life with my crazy sisterrr
