China Wall
Great place for sunsets and those that are brave can jump off the cliff into the ocean. Stop by after a day at Hanauma Bay before heading back to Waikiki.
Makapu'u Tide Pools
Hike to the lighthouse and you can walk down to the tidepools. Great view at the top of the light house and on a clear day, you can see Moloka’i (neighbor island). There’s not many places like this so definitely worth doing!
Hanauma Bay
Snorkeling — beach — a LOT of fish, $10 entry fee. They're closed every TUESDAY so plan accordingly.
Sandy Beach
THE beach on the east side for locals and famous for body boarding. You won’t see shore breaks like this anywhere else.
Sherwood Beach
Less touristy with really soft sand
Dole Plantation
Why? Dole WHIP! Est time? 1-2 hr roundtrip — middle of the island Stop by on your way to the North Shore
Waimea Bay
Small parking lot but one of the beaches in the North Shore that’s safe enough for tourists to swim in. Famous for a big rock that people cliff jump off of.
