Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
This art museum is a jewel located in the heart of Richmond. It is also the home of Kehinde Wiley's "Rumours of War" sculpture. Asad has been a long time volunteer at this museum, and remains an avid visitor along with his fiance, Zara.
Short Pump Town Center
This mall is a favorite among Richmonders. It's a great place for shopping and dining! It is located a hop, skip, and jump from the Hilton Short Pump Hotel and and walking distance from the Hyatt House.
Maymont Park
Whether strolling through the Japanese or Italian gardens, touring the mansion, watching river otters play, petting a goat at their petting zoo, or picnicking on the rolling hills, Maymont Park is a gift of 100 acres for all to enjoy. This is Asad and Zara's favorite place for afternoon strolls and picnic lunches.
