Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony and reception will BOTH be held at The Artisans Building. The Artisans Building is located within the Illinois State Fairgrounds. We recommend typing in "Artisans Building" into your Google Maps.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help with our planning, we kindly ask that you RSVP by September 15th, 2024.

Are children allowed?

As much as we love them, we ask that you leave the kiddos at home. We want you to enjoy a parents' night out!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We plan on having a semi-open bar! Beer, wine, & select seltzers will be on us; however, please bring cash for liquor, mixed drinks, and of course, for tipping the bartender.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor. Your invitation will be addressed as {Your Name} + {Guest} if a plus one has been given to you. Please do not reach out asking if you can bring a plus one. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! So, we are kindly requesting that all of our guests dress in a semi-formal/cocktail attire.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will commence promptly at 4:00. We would greatly appreciate it if you arrived no later than 3:45 to ensure you have have plenty of time to park and be comfortably seated before the ceremony begins.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, this will be an unplugged ceremony. Please let our photographer take care of capturing photos during our ceremony. We kindly ask that all guests tuck their phones away on silent for the duration of our ceremony. We want all of our guests to be present in the moment with us to soak up every second! There will be plenty of time for pictures when the reception begins.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We have decided against having a wedding registry but would be grateful for any donations to our honeymoon fund. Check out our "Registry" tab to see more details.

How can I contribute to your honeymoon fund?

Answer

If you wish to contribute to our honeymoon fund, you can do so by going to the "Registry" tab on this website using Venmo, or a wedding card can be dropped in the card box at the reception.

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue.

Do you have a hotel block booked out?

Answer

No, we did not book a hotel block. However, there are several hotels in the area if that is an accommodation you would like to utilize. Please reach out if you would like any help doing so.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There will not be any sort of transportation or shuttle service provided; however, we do suggest utilizing an Uber or Lyft service if needed. Otherwise, we do ask that everyone has a designated driver if they plan on drinking.
