What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Attendees can wear a formal suit with a tie, a pants suit, or a dress (short & long dresses are acceptable).

Are kids Invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to have an age minimum of 12 years old, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the little kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

When should we arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive at the venue for the ceremony by 4pm.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the ceremony/reception venue?
Answer
Yes, if you are staying at the Minerals Hotel, there is a free shuttle that will take you to the venue at the Grand Cascades Lodge.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
Yes, there are rooms onsite at the Grand Cascades Lodge or 5 miles away at the Minerals Hotel. To reserve a room call 866.921.0422, choose prompt #2, and mention the Arzt Smith wedding. Rooms must be booked by October 22nd 2022.

Both the ceremony and reception are taking place in the Emerald Ballroom within the Grand Cascades Lodge.

How do we RSVP?
Answer
Please use the RSVP feature on our website. https://www.zola.com/wedding/arztsmithwedding/rsvp Please RSVP promptly, with the last call being October 22nd.

Where is the couple registered?
Answer
We are registered on the Zola website, which can be viewed through the registry tab. Registry items are organized with the most important items at the top. Some items are linked to other websites where they can be purchased. More expensive items can be contributed to by multiple guests.

Where should gifts be sent?
Answer
During the checkout process on Zola, you’ll have the option to ship the gift directly to the couple (this is the default), or you can ship it to yourself to give it in person. For ease of transportation, please only bring your gift in person if it is small. All other gifts please send to 115 Fillow Street, Apt 62, Norwalk CT 06850.

Can I take my own pictures at the wedding and post them to social media?
Answer
Yes, you are welcome to take pictures and post them on Social media. However, we do ask that nobody take pictures during the ceremony. We have a photographer there and stray phones and cameras can ruin important shots. Please be mindful of the photographer during important wedding moments.

What kind of food will be served?
Answer
A variety of food will be served throughout the day. Cocktail Hour will have various themed stations and passed hors d'oeuvres, and the reception will feature a plated dinner and a dessert bar. Please ensure to disclose any food allergies/dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
