Ceremony

Formal! Please make sure you do wear comfortable shoes to your liking as we will be in the sand on the beach. You will be walking on trails as well as in sand!

You will need to park to the side of highway 1 and walk down to the beach area. Please look for the garrapata state park sign by the porta potties and brown trash cans and walk down the first set of stairs that lead to the wired off dirt trail. Continue the trail until you meet the area it veers with the option of left or right, and go on the left trail which then leads to the second stair case that leads down to the beach. Don’t be alarmed, there is a yellow chain across the entrance of the stair case, it is only a wave breaker warning. We are allowed to go down there. The stairs are a bit broken and busted up as well as a roughly two foot step you need to jump off of or slide down. , if you are not comfortable with going down to the sand area, don’t stress as you can stand at the top of the stairs, on them, or on the trail that stops at a viewing point which gives a perfect view of where we will say “I do” (Detailed photos in photo section if needed). We are shooting for just before sunset! The ceremony will not take that long as everything will be traditionally done. You may head to the reception before us (bride and groom) as we will most likely stay behind to take some photos! A designated individual will be there to guide you in to be seated for our entrance.
