How to get to Lake Como
All wedding events will take place in the Cernobbio area of Lake Como. Below are convenient ways to reach Cernobbio from Milan. ✈️ Flights We highly recommend flying into Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), which is the closest airport. 🚗 Rent a Car If you plan to stay at a separate hotel or Airbnb, or would like to explore the area independently, we highly recommend renting a car in Milan. There is parking available at Sheraton (Sangeet) and Villa Erba (Ceremony + Reception) • Travel time: ~45 minutes from MXP • Tip: Check International Driving Permit requirements before traveling [1] • Car rentals: Hertz, Europcar, Avis 🚕 Taxi / Uber There are no Ubers and taxi services can be limited in Lake Como. However, you pre-book a taxi directly from Milan Malpensa Airport to your hotel. • Travel time: ~45 minutes from MXP • Costs: ~€90. • Book in advance: Welcome Pickups [2] 🚆 Train A scenic and affordable option: 1. Take a shuttle bus from MXP to Milan Centrale Station. Shuttle details available here: [3] 2. From Milan Centrale, take a direct train to Como San Giovanni Station [4] — the nearest major station to Cernobbio. 3. From Como, it’s a short 10-minute taxi ride to Cernobbio. For taxis, call +39 3282481477 • Train services: Trenitalia [5] or Trenord [6] • Travel time: ~1 hour 15 minutes 🚌 Wedding Shuttle The wedding hosts will be providing complimentary shuttle buses from/to MXP to Hotel Centrale and Como's City Center on July 1 and July 4. Shuttles will also run between Cernobbio (Hotel Centrale) and Como's City Center to all wedding events. Stay tuned for the detailed schedule and pickup locations closer to the event. We invite our guests to book directly at the specially negotiated hotels and apartments listed below. Complimentary shuttles will be provided to and from the wedding events from 2-3 locations — Hotel Centrale, Lake Como City Center, and maybe Hotel Sheraton. You are, of course, welcome to stay anywhere in Lake Como. However, please note that Uber and taxi services are limited in the area, so renting a car is highly recommended if you plan to stay outside the locations mentioned above.

In the event of late cancellation, no-show, or early departure, 100% of the total stay will be charged.
