There will be a private ceremony in the morning for family only, and then the party to which everyone is invited.
Lexington is the closest big town. It's about a 30-minute drive from the venue, so it's the place we'd recommend staying. Lexington is also Alix's hometown and there's plenty to do. Our wedding is taking place at the same time as the Keeneland Fall Meet so hotels may book up more quickly. Vrbo or AirBnB are also options. You could also stay in Asbury or Nicholasville, which are smaller towns but closer to the wedding venue, ideal for those planning a very short stay. You could also stay at the Shaker Hill Inn before, after and the night of the reception. For a discount on the night of the reception, let Alix and Arun know you'd like to be part of the wedding block.
