A staple for the Ortega family, the line is worth it! We recommend the California Burrito.
Modern Times Coffee
Whenever we're in downtown San Diego we stop here for coffee and sometimes can't resist the breakfast. The decor is fun and that's enough to sell us! Their website is weird but we recommend the breakfast potatoes and a rotating seasonal latte.
Mission Beach
A dreamy place to come if you have a chill day in the agenda. You can rent paddle boards or just find a spot on the sand. Belmont Park is also within walking distance if you're searching for that boardwalk scene.
Balboa Park
The San Diego Zoo, museums, and gardens are plenty to keep you entertained for a free day about. We hear the pandas are coming back just in time! The parking is competitive but free.
Liberty Station
Liberty Station has a lot to offer but our favorite has to be the food market. We also love that Stone Brewing has a tasting room with plenty of experimental brews to try.
False Idol
If you know us then you know we love a gimmick and tiki bars are the ultimate schticks. We suggest making a reservation ahead of time.
Coin-Op Game Room
Fun fact, our second date was a barcade where Arturo successfully impressed Gracie with his Lord of the Rings pinball skills. Located right around the corner from our venue and hotel, we suggest to stop in if you need to kill any time during the weekend.
