Arturo went up to Gabrielle while out one night in Los Angeles. Arturo's first words were "I am sorry to bother you, but you are so beautiful." He immediately walked away, leaving Gabrielle confused, but very interested. They crossed paths later in the night while on the dance floor. After trying to uncomfortably dance and talk at the same time, they decided to take the conversation outside. During that 20-minute conversation, they both knew there was a spark. Once the conversation ended they parted ways not knowing if they would see each other again. Gabrielle left the bar and started heading to the car. Pleasantly surprised, they ran into each other again and FINALLY Arturo asked for her number. A few weeks later they went on their first date to a sushi restaurant where they knew they had stumbled upon something special. Over the next month, they went on a couple more dates and the connection was undeniable. Unfortunately, they stopped talking because they both felt it was not the right time. After almost a year later of liking each others' posts and the occasional light conversation they reunited. Their second first date was on a hike in Claremont and had lunch at the same sushi restaurant. This date was when they decided they wanted to be together. It was a few weeks after that when Arturo asked Gabrielle to be his girlfriend. Since then the spark has intensified into something so deep and beautiful.
