What is the dress code?

Answer

We understand that the weather can be quiet warm during this time of year at Riviera Maya. We ask that you dress semi-formally but lightly. Suits, dress shirts and pants, maxi dresses, and cocktail dresses are all welcome.

What types of footwear should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are held at the beach, where the sand is fairly soft. If you would like to wear high heels, wedge heels and chunky heels are most likely to work. Avoid wearing Stiletto heels.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

It takes approximately 7 minutes for the golf carts to transport 13 guests from their rooms to the beach. Please be at the ceremony location 10 minutes before the start of the event.

Is there a registry?

Answer

No, we do not have a registry.

Is there a shuttle from the airport?

Answer

For guests who have booked through our package and are flying with us, there is already a shuttle reserved. If you have booked a hotel only package or have reserved on your own and would like to reserve a shuttle, please contact our travel coordinator, Gabrielle Masciarelli, by phone at 403-301-0113 or by email at gabrielle@escapes.ca.

Is there a salon at the resort?

Answer

Yes! However, salon spots are limited. If you would like to reserve a spot, please contact us at artin.anzabee@gmail.com as soon as possible and we will try our best to help you secure an appointment.

What food options are available at the welcome dinner?

Answer

The Welcome dinner is held at the resort's Brazilian BBQ. The welcome dinner will be served in a buffet style and includes: Salad bar Garlic Bread Glazed Pineapples Maminha Frango Lingucia Picanha

Reception dinner is served buffet style. Is there any additional information with regards to COVID?

Answer

Please review the regulations of the country you will be departing from and returning to (US, Canada). Currently, Canada has lifted the requirement for COVID testing for vaccinated travellers returning to Canada. However, as always, these regulations are subject to change.
