What time should I arrive? Please plan to arrive at Book Tower by 5:00 PM to allow ample time to reach the ceremony location and get seated. Staff will be available to guide you to the 13th floor, where the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. If you'd like to enjoy a pre-ceremony drink, feel free to arrive early and stop by Bar Rotunda, located in the lobby of Book Tower, before heading upstairs. A quick note on parking: Please allow extra time if you're driving, as the Detroit Lions home opener against the Bears will be wrapping up in the late afternoon and may cause traffic or delays in downtown parking.
Is there a dress code? We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We kindly request that you join us in celebrating our special day in black tie optional attire. Ladies, wear your favorite midi to floor length gown or dressy separates (please no shades of white). Gentleman, wear your favorite suit with a tie or bow tie. Bridesmaids will be wearing shades of green.
When and how should I RSVP? Please RSVP no later than Friday August 1st, 2025. You can do so on the RSVP tab.
Can I bring a plus one? We kindly request your understanding that we will not be accommodating plus ones unless specifically named on your invitation.
Do you have any hotel recommendations? Of course, check out the travel page for our room blocks and other hotels in the area we recommend. Our list is not exhaustive, and you are more than welcome to explore other hotels in the area.
Can I bring my children? As much as we love your children, we encourage you to enjoy a parents night out. Unless otherwise indicated on your invitation, we kindly request that you leave the kids at home, unwind, and celebrate our most special day with us!
Is transportation provided? The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all located at Book Tower, so no transportation is required.
