Alex and Artemis "Jade" met during the first week of college at Ohio Northern University in 2017. Alex and his friend, Tyler, walked past Jade's dorm room on the way to Lacrosse practice. As they passed the door, Alex stopped, back-tracked, and popped his head into the doorway. Jade was immediately enamored. With the boys having to be on their way, Alex took Jade's snapchat username off the wall outside her dorm and they continued to chat. Seeing each other in the dorm hallways and around campus, the crush continued to develop and Alex and Jade officially started dating that next fall. Being college sweethearts, Alex and Jade had to endure long distance several times throughout the years. Each school break and every summer as Jade went home to Springfield, Ohio and Alex to Buffalo, New York- Go Bills! When Jade left for Basic Training for the Ohio Army National Guard in 2019. (They wrote to each other constantly!) And finally when Jade left to complete a study abroad in Spain in 2020. Being apart was tough but as they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder! Nothing could be more true as Jade and Alex have been inseparable ever since. They have lived together in Columbus, Ohio with their fat cat, Ravioli, for the last 4 years. They are each others' best friend and couldn't imagine life without the other! Through every phase in life, college, long distance, new career journeys, their love for each other has continued to grow. They are so excited to finally become one and to celebrate with their closest family and friends! Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our Love Story.
